When data entry makes the difference

In the context of managing personal data protection compliance, data entry into the system is a delicate operation, since the quality of the information determines all subsequent steps that allow the regulatory alignment of the analysed activity. Especially in the case of highly articulated organisational structures, manually entering every single piece of data into the Privacy Evo work environment can be time-consuming, and for this reason, the availability of functions for the massive data entry within the software is of particular importance.

Simple structures to keep everything in order

The simplest solution to overcome this need is to generate import structures consisting of simple spreadsheet files in .xls format, which can be profitably used to place data within them according to specific criteria. The spreadsheets themselves represent a database whose rows constitute the individual objects of which it is composed and whose columns indicate which specific data must be entered in the appropriate position.

A smart Wizard for secure data import

The wizard for importing data into the current project is available for those categories where the need for massive processing is more frequent, such as the master data of the subjects with an active role in the processing. During the procedure, it is possible to view and possibly modify the data before their import; if, on the other hand, the information to be entered into the system is available in tables other than that of the default template, on-the-fly alignment between source and destination fields is allowed. This latter option allows the retrieval of information from other systems and considerably extends the use of the function.
